Since there is insufficient space in this article to give all of these topics adequate attention, let’s focus on just one specific topic with the realm of internet marketing: Email Marketing.

My best payoff has always come by focusing on permission-based email marketing. Permission-based email marketing refers to the practice of collecting information (including email addresses) from website visitors and communicating with them via e-mail with their direct consent. The “permission” aspect of permission-based email marketing is what separates legitimate email marketers from the spammers that everyone despises.

My love of email marketing is strong for one reason: It works very well. Email marketing has been much like a never-ending goldmine: It enables us to produce income on demand simply by sending a good offer to our list. When you have thousands of loyal subscribers – as we do – and you put a strong and compatible offer in front of them, income becomes nearly automatic.

However, the key to successful email marketing is the development of a legitimate trust relationship with your subscribers. If you opt to send your subscribers a request for purchases every single day, they will likely tire of your badgering and cease reading your emails altogether.

Alternatively, if you take the time to provide good content to your readers on a regular and frequent basis, you’ll discover that your readers take all of your emails far more seriously, and as a result your emails will be opened, read and acted upon with greater frequency. Essentially, email marketing is really an exercise in trust.

While there are many more aspects to internet marketing than just permission-based email marketing, email has definitely been the cornerstone on which our business is built.

SEO Tips for Squidoo

When using Squidoo as a means of leveraging your internet marketing, you will have to make sure that you are SEO optimising the pages properly.

The Google ads placed on your site are done so automatically by Squidoo, so you have no control over these.  This is how Squidoo makes its money as they do not charge people for its services.  The problem with this is that people will click on these ads and therefore leave your page, usually never to return.

There are options you can control your Squidoo pages, or lenses as they are known as.  Basically it is up to you to decide which keywords to optimise for which will then show up on Google.  This way you know you are proactively doing something to attract the search engines to the lens.  The best keyword density range is 2.8-3.3%.

By bolding some of these keywords on your page, the search engines will them know that you have placed emphasis on them.  There are also other ways of highlighting keywords in the text and one of these is to italic the words.  When you have chosen a main keyword for the text, this should ideally be placed as close to the beginning and end of it as possible.

Another way to ensure your lens is attracting Google for the right keywords is to use the keyword in the title and the URL.  Using hyphens and not underscores when the keywords in the url have to be broken up is the best method.  If you link all your lenses on your blog roll, then Google will be able to find each lens easier.

You have to really try and get many backlinks to your lens for it to rise in the rankings.  Comments on other users sites is a good way of getting backlinks.  If you use the above tips, then it will not be long before your lens begins showing up on Google.

Five Things I wish I had known before I started Affiliate Marketing

Learning affiliate internet marketing is finding out a new thunder as more and more people tussle with the economic system and are searching for different ways to add on their income.  I have recently seen a significant upswing in the amount of new affiliates needing services of process for their affiliate internet marketing job.

Three.  Learn PPC marketing.  I actually lost a large amount of cash with PPC promoting when I initially began.  I should have subscribed to the time to control PPC first before jumping in.
